IT Security Networks
CSIS Security Group is represented in several international networks ensuring that we are always
at the vanguard of knowledge about the latest IT security threats. CSIS Security Group thereby
has the ability take pervasive actions and incorporate proactive measures in our products and
solutions before an exposure occurs. The following is a description of some of those networks:
Digital PhishNet
Digital PhishNet (DPN) was established, as a collaborative enforcement operation
to unite industry leaders in technology, banking, financial services and online
auctioneering with law enforcement to combat "phishing," a destructive and growing
form of online identity theft.
WIKI Castle Cops
The Phishing Incident Reporting and Termination (PIRT) Squad, will be a community
at CastleCops solely dedicated to taking down phishing sites. It’s the first public
takedown community.
APWG (Anti Phishing Working Group)
The Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG) is an industry association focused on
eliminating the identity theft and fraud that result from the growing problem
of phishing and email spoofing. The organisation provides a forum to discuss
phishing issues, trials and evaluations of potential technology solutions, and
access to a centralized repository of phishing attacks.
AVIEN (Anti Virus Information Exchange Network)
Avien and AVI-EWS are international on-line communities dedicated to a cooperative grassroots
information sharing efforts to reduce the impact of malicious code (viruses, worms, Trajan
Horses, Spyware) and other relates vulnerabilities.
